If you have seen the olden days Blackberry phone with QWERTY keyboard, the JioPhone 2 is similar to that but with more features of course. The Jio Phone 2 will go on sale this August 15, 2018 at an introductory price of Rs. 2999. Like the previous Jio feature phone, whether the customer would get a refund or not is a question now, until the sale day.

We all know the JioPhone 2 is a feature phone (not a smartphone) but it will keep the users entertained. The users can Google, update on Facebook and chat on WhatsApp. They can also watch videos on YouTube. All thanks to the KAI operating system specially designed to run such Apps in a feature phones like this.

The JioPhone 2 is equipped with minimal components. As per my readings in GSM Arena, the feature phone has a 2.4 QVGA display, dual SIM options, 2000 mAh battery, SD card support up to 128 GB, 2 MP primary camera, front VGA camera and 512 MP RAM with 4 GB internal storage. All for Rs. 2999/-.

I doubt if the Jio Phone 2 will support Hotspot. If it does, then this phone is going to be a super hit.
If you are planning to buy the JioPhone 2, get ready for the 15th August sale.
