Redmi 5 Consumer Review
I was quite surprised to not to find any major websites reviewing the entry level Redmi 5. Is it because of its price level or didn’t I search the web properly?Never matter, there are always the end users who share their happiness or vent out their anger on a platform like Amazon. The Redmi 5 is more than 6 months in the market now and the online retailer has garnered enough reviews from the buyers.
After reading most of the reviews, both positive and negative, I feel the Redmi 5 is a good buy at Rs. 7999/- this price was trending on Amazon while writing this post. This classy looking phone from Xiaomi has lot more features for this price it is selling.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 technology in the Redmi 5 gives out premium experience to the users. Be it for the photography, connectivity or stunning displays.

Redmi 5 specifications are worth the price
The Redmi 5 doesn’t sports dual lens camera like the latest ones with little higher price. However, the 12 MP rear camera and 5 MP front camera with LED lights should do a good job. Moreover, apps like Beautify 3.0 will not let down a selfie lover. The company website claims the Redmi 5 captures great photos under different lighting conditions. However, comparing this claim with higher end phones can be a silly thought.
The only drawback I feel is the SIM usage. This phone either supports two SIMs or 1 SIM and 1 Micro SD card. Therefore, those who are using two phone numbers cannot have an additional memory and vice versa.
One of the consumer stated that the Redmi 5 was best mobile in the price range. It is, for the features it is packed with. I found one negative review very interesting that the smartphone is bloated with pre-loaded Apps. This is common with Chinese makers.
Looks like you are searching for a smartphone under 10,000/- or an entry-level phone with great features. Find one in at Amazon.in
